in 1898 by professor Albert Mueller, finalized
by Gustav Gull (the later architect of the Swiss
National Museum in Zurich and several other public
buildings) for brewery-owner Lt.Col. Albert Heinrich
Hurlimann-Hirzel (1857 - 1934)
